Words Of Wisdom

Although when she speaks it all seams pretty cryptic and sensless, more than once Drusilla has given precious indications of what's to come...

The girl, the Slayer. Your heart stinks of her. Poor little thing. Sha has no idea what's in store.
  To Angel, Lie to Me

This is just the beginning.
  To Angel, Lie To Me

And indeed she is right. As Buffy and Angel get closer, they bring on something terrible, something they never could have expected and that will put Buffy through a great deal of pain.

Drusilla: I'm naming all the stars.
Spike: Can't see the stars love. That's the ceiling. Also, it's day.
Drusilla: I can see them. But I've named them all the same name, and there's terrible confusion. I fear there may be a duel.

As she finishes, Angelus loses his soul and later returns to his former friends, leading Spike to become extemely jealous and the two vamps are rivals - as in a duel. Spike even leagues up with Buffy to get rid of Angel. The two former lovers end up fighting - a duel.

Years later, when Drusilla comes back to Sunnydale to rekindle her love wth Spike she comes to a sad conclusion...

Poor Spike, so lost. Even I can't help you now.

And to vampire standards, Spike is lost, soon even earning a soul and sacrificing himself to save the world.
