Summary
Spike returns to town, drunk, after Drusilla has broken up with him. Blaming Angel and Buffy for this he decides to get revenge on Angel. However while at the magic shop he discovers that Willow is a practicing witch. He kidnaps her and Xander with the intention of getting her to do a love spell on Drusilla for him.
After getting good exam results Buffy is torn between pursuing an education and her duties as the slayer.
Oz and Cordelia find the kidnapped Willow and Xander kissing causing Cordelia to run off and then fall on a metal pole.
Buffy and Angel agree to help Spike in return for Willow and Xander's safety. (Not knowing that Oz and Cordelia were about to find them). While getting the supplies for the spell they are ambushed by a large group of vampires and have to fight their way out. After the battle Spike decides to just go and find Drusilla himself and Buffy and Angel are forced to come to terms with the fact that they can never be just friends.
Xander visits Cordelia in the hospital but she tells him to stay away from her. All the main characters are devastated after the events of this episode, but Spike is filled with new life (not literally) and drives off singing "I did it my way."
